We are proud to have supplied systems to some of New Zealand’s most innovative and successful manufacturers: Andar: Timaru based manufacturer of wool and textile machinery for over 20 years. Andar equipment with Streat Automation control systems have been installed worldwide. HotRot: Manufacturers of large rotary compost systems, Streat Automation has provided the PLC controls and a custom developed software solution for remote monitoring and control. UMC: Deer fence manufacturing line using Rockwell ControlLogix PLC and Rockwell GMC series servo drives. Mooring Systems: Manufacturers of automated ship mooring systems. Streat Automation have developed an automated obstacle avoidance system using a SICK LMS laser sensor and custom designed software. NZPAC: Automated wool fleece grading line measuring CVD, curvature, micron and yield. Information is stored in a SQL database with reports generated for each grower. Streat Automation has successfully completed a number of major automation upgrades of packaging and wrapping machines. We can completely redesign and replace control systems and mechanics and generally significantly increase the versatility and through-put of the machines. Cadbury Dunedin: Pack100 Wrapper Automation Upgrade. Complete re-design and upgrade of the PLC and servo controls and mechanics for this high speed-wrapping machine. The system uses a Rockwell ControlLogix PLC with 8 axis SERCOS control (over fibre optic cable) and Ultra 3000 servo drives and motors. All ‘mini’ Cadbury bars produced in Dunedin are wrapped on this machine. Canterbury Brewery: Major rewrites of the software for the Bottle and Can palletising systems for Rockwell SLC500 and Modicon 948 and 884 systems. CHH Packaging: Cardboard finishing line and trolley cart optimisation and improvements to software to make operation more robust. |
