Streat Automation has completed a number of projects for the New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra at the Reporoa, Kaikoura and Clandeboye plants.

Fonterra Reporoa Automation upgrade of the Ethanol Plant, Irrigation & Effluent and Plant Services. Controlled by a network of Rockwell ControlLogix PLC’s and iFIX HMI’s with over 2000 IO and taking more than 4000 man-hours. Applying Fonterra Engineering Standards (FES) throughout including developing level 1 & 2 Functional Descriptions (FD’s) and programming with Fonterra Standard Code.
The system includes QTech remote telemetry equipment.

Fonterra Kaikoura Cheese Tower CIP Upgrade. Controlled by a Rockwell CompactLogix PLC with PanelView Plus 600 Operator Display.

Fonterra Kaikoura Salting & Drain Belt, Mill and Curd Pump MCC Upgrade.

Fonterra Clandeboye Dryer Emission Stack Monitoring.
